From having our office open 6 days a week, to finding the times for appointments that work with your schedule, our policies have helped make us help countless families in Omaha, NE and the surrounding communities achieve the brighter, healthier smiles.

Appointment Policies
Our appointment policies are designed to ensure that we can effectively provide care to all our patients who are going through dental or orthodontic treatment with us, while also making the process as convenient as possible. We happily work with patients to find the days and times that work best with their schedules.
Arriving & Checking In At Your Appointments
Whenever you arrive at our office for your appointment, we request that you check in at the front desk to let us know that you have arrived. If your name is not called within 15 minutes of your scheduled appointment time, please let one of our receptionists know and we will do our best to assist you as soon as possible.
Appointment Frequency & Length
The amount of time in between dental or orthodontic appointments will vary on a patient-to-patient basis, as it depends on the individual treatment plan designed by our team of doctors. With that in mind, we value your time and will always work closely with you to find when office visits will fit in with your schedule.
The length of your appointment will vary depending on the treatment needed. Each appointment will always have adequate time to perform the necessary procedures, in addition to some extra time where you can ask questions and provide you with an update on the progress of your treatment. If you would like to know how long your appointment will take, feel free to ask your doctor or a member of our staff.
Late Arrivals, Cancellations, & Missed Appointments
When it comes to providing quality care to all of our patients, every minute matters. Unfortunately, that means that late arrivals, cancellations, or missed appointments can pose problems. To be fair to the other patients that have visits scheduled on the same day as you, we may need to reschedule your appointment if you are late.
We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances can result in you needing to miss or cancel an appointment. We will always work to get your appointment rescheduled as soon as possible. To make this process easier, and to allow us to adjust our schedule faster to find the best time for you, we ask that you let us know if you need to cancel or miss an appointment at least 24 hours in advance.
When you do reschedule appointments due to missing or canceling, your treatment is technically delayed until you can see your doctor, essentially extending your treatment time until you can find time for your next visit. Also, while we will do our best to reschedule appointments at convenient times, sometimes it may be necessary to shift your appointment to a time during school or work hours.
Appointments For Orthodontic Treatment
For both adults and children going through orthodontic treatment with braces, appointments are typically scheduled to be about 4-6 weeks apart. Certain appointments during the orthodontic treatment process may be a bit longer, such as the initial placement of the braces. Typically, these longer appointments will be done in the morning or during the afternoon. Since orthodontic appointments will occasionally conflict with work or school hours, our staff will be happy to provide you or your kids with a written excuse for the day of your appointment. Just let us know if you need one and we’ll be happy to provide a note for you.
