Orthodontic Insurance
Insurance plans vary greatly from person to person, but orthodontic insurance usually works differently than medical or dental insurance. With orthodontic insurance plans, it’s common to have a lifetime maximum benefit for orthodontic services. The plan then pays a percentage of the orthodontic treatment until the maximum is reached.
At our practice, we strive to help our patients get the maximum coverage they’re entitled to – and we’re happy to file your insurance claims for you. We’ll also use our expertise to help you get the most coverage possible. That said, final responsibility for payment and collection of benefits does rest with the patient.
To help us with filing your claims and receiving insurance payments, we ask patients to provide us with the name, address, telephone number, the subscriber ID number, company group number, and any other relevant information about your insurance provider. If your employer requires verification of ongoing treatment for insurance coverage, we’re happy to send them copies of your canceled checks or cash receipts. We’re also happy to sign any verification forms for continuing treatment.
Payment Plans
In addition to accepting insurance, we offer a range of flexible payment plans and financing options through CareCredit. These options make it easy to spread out the cost of treatment, helping to make orthodontic care affordable on a tight budget – and we’ll work with you to help create a payment plan that works for you. In addition to financing options, we happily accept payment through American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa, giving you a wide range of options for paying for care.
