We use modern low-profile brackets for our metal braces. They are smaller and thinner, making them far less visible on the teeth, as well as more comfortable on the cheeks and lips.

WildSmiles brackets function just like traditional brackets but they add more personality for your tween who wants to add some fun to their experience. By incorporating WildSmiles your child can mix and match their choices with colored elastics!
Self-ligating Braces
On occasion we use “DAMON” self-ligating braces. They are made from the same materials as traditional braces but usually involve less friction being placed on the teeth. The large “slot” allows for more effective expansion and may mean that your child will not need expansion with a traditional palatal expander. These self-ligating brackets may require fewer appointments because they do not exert as much pressure and do not require the “alastic” ties to hold the wire in place.
Clear (Ceramic) Braces
Clear braces are made of clear materials and therefore are not as visible on the teeth as metal braces. They are usually used on children and teenagers who have cosmetic concerns. Ceramic braces are usually slightly larger and more brittle than their metal counterparts so are only used on the upper teeth.
Clear Aligners
Clear aligners are a great option for older, more responsible teens and young adults. They come as a sequential set and they work!!!
The downside is that they must be worn consistently. They need to be taken out before eating, cleaned and reinserted AND they cannot be worn if drinking sugary drinks.
